So it's been a while since my last update. I've been very busy working away on 3D assets. It's been a lot of fun getting my head into cinema 4D and learning all the good bits and all the bad bits. The more complex the objects, the more messy they can get. There's always a little bit of satisfaction when you create something that is so clean cut and measured to perfection. After all this low poly work, I'd love to look into creating other things and see where I can take some of my ideas. The sky's the limit with 3D and I've only scraped the surface. I just keep thinking of how to combine this with other mediums and how to create seamless pieces of work, without 3D being the focus. There's a lot of gorgeous animations that appear to be 2D stop motion, but is actually heavily 3D built.
Either way, I'm gonna have with this. Here's another asset I created during the week. I don't want to post too much at this stage but there is a lot of nice locations already modelled, ready to be implemented into the final build.
