So I worked with the PlayDead team last week and had one of the best experiences I've ever had, working on a project. It was an intense amount of work I fired through in 4 days but I still had a chance to enjoy my time there and get to know the guys behind PlayDead. I can't really post any work I have done just yet, but I'll just leave this tiny little bird here. Frame by frame drawing is definitely hard work, mentally! But the end result is always worth it. It took me 3 weeks to produce my Life in Ten Pictures animation but only 4 days on this latest sequence. It goes to show the more you draw, the easier it gets.
I am now currently working at Whitespace for a month and having the pleasure of working among the Whitespacers, in their new awesome studio! I am also getting the chance to do graphics and motion graphics, letting me get stuck in to lots of different mediums. There's no doubt that this is the most exciting time I've had so far, getting to know new people, learn about the industry and also produce lots of work in the process. For the next 4 week anyhow, I shall be enjoying my time at Whitespace and giving the personal projects a rest for now.
